In the latest of their weird advertising ideas, Eichborn, a freethinking German company, took the extraordinary measure of attaching tiny banner adverts to flies at a Frankfurt trade show, and then unleashing the swarm on the public. As weird advertising ideas go this one was pretty out there, but with its low cost and unique style it got people talkingm, and put the Eichborn brand in the spotlight. This cheap campaign has had over one million views their YouTube video, newspapers and magazines have printed the story and the social media response has been massive.
