Our first-ever client and a collaboration that’s still going strong today. Over the years, the scope of design and digital work we’ve created for Japanese brand Yakult has encompassed website design, micro-site management, games, animation, icons and videos. Throughout our relationship we’ve evolved and innovated enabling us to bring a continual fresh approach to Yakult’s campaigns.
Interactive games are a great way to connect consumers to brands, and in 2019, we helped produce a hugely popular vending machine touchscreen game for Yakult. Recently reskinned with its latest brand assets to complement an advertising campaign, the game was built on cross-platform game engine, Unity, and sees users learn words in Nippon in exchange for a free bottle of Yakult. The campaign enabled us to communicate one of Yakult’s brand pillars – Japanese heritage – as well as engaging consumer interest.
