WordPress 3 is nearly upon us, it is currently in release candidate, one step away from launch. We have been playing with it so we’ll be ready. Now is a good time to reveal some of the cool new features available in this update.

I’m happy to announce that the Kino Add HTML plugin is now ready for release.

As with most aspects of WordPress, the next / previous navigation links are highly customisable, but one thing that might not be immediately obvious is how to use images for the links or how to show inactive links.

We’re proud to announce that the Kino Events Calendar Plugin for WordPress is now gold and available free for download.

Ok, so we’re a bit late on with this one, WordPress 2.9 was released waaay back in December, introducing some handy new features. We would have reported it then but we were too full of Christmas (ahem) spirit

We love WordPress here at Kino Creative, but such a large CMS platform is bound to develop the occasional niggle. If you can’t login to the administration panel then your first port of call should be the WordPress Codex. Unfortunately although the solution worked for us, it didn’t address

The 100% open source WordPress has attracted a huge developer following, pushing the blogging platform far beyond it’s original capabilities. Plugins are a great way to add functionality to your blog, but with over 6000 available from the WordPress website where do you start?
