At last! It took us longer than expected, but we’re delighted with the new look for Kino Creative.
The last month has seen us embark on a total rebrand. Starting with the new logo, we moved onto stationary, and finally a whole new website. It’s been a long overdue redesign, and we took our time to make sure that we’ve now got a site that will hopefully last for a few years before needing any more serious attention.

As with almost all the sites we’ve developed recently our new website is built using WordPress as a CMS. This is probably the most heavily customised WordPress site we’ve attempted, and it has acted as something of a test of Simon’s (our CSS coder in chief) skills.
Being able to work on such a complex WordPress site in house means we can now confidently transfer the skills we’ve learned here onto client websites going forward. Indeed over the coming weeks and months we’ll be releasing tutorials covering some of the more useful WordPress tips we’ve picked up, and you can stay tuned by following us on Twitter or via RSS.

I discovered your web site when I was browsing for something else, but this page was one of the first sites listed in Google, your web site must be enormously popular! Keep up the good work!
Your website looks really good. Being a blog writer myself, I really appreciate the time you took in writing this article. Check out my website if you get a chance, just click on name. (I don’t want to leave a link, it looks too spammy)
Thanks Dave, it was tough sitting down and figuring out this redesign, but I’m delighted with the outcome. Essentially though we just took a simple three column layout, modified on certain pages such as this one to give the blog a bit more horizontal space to fill, and then let branding go to work.
And your website looks pretty good to me as it is!
Loving the new look – very clean and thoughtfully laid out, and nice colours. Designing your own website is the hardest thing if you’re a designer – can you do mine for me please? ;-)
This is a very sleek new look for Kino Creative, the soft charcoal background makes the text content a lot easier to read, and there’s a lot more of that now. It’s also a classy, subtle way to make the icons stand out without harassing your visitors with claims on their attention…
Nice work, KinoC, keep it up and keep blogging!
